Selected high school students will be invited to participate in a 3-week bootcamp hosted by the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, teaching key concepts of engineering entrepreneurship and organized to develop new solutions to combat the wide range of challenges we face from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Students will learn how to think like an entrepreneur and simultaneously develop business models and their own hardware / software projects in an accelerated hands-on, team environment. Topics include entrepreneurial team dynamics, user-centered design and other topics in design thinking, creativity and business model development, communication to investors and technology managers, and technology plan development.

Virtual sessions will be hosted over Zoom and require a combination of self-paced readings and videos as well as six synchronous “in-person” sessions. This guided innovation sprint will culminate in a final “Demo Day” presentation and selected projects will be showcased at USC.
