All attendees must conduct a self-health screening prior to attending. If they have any symptoms or are currently in their isolation period due to a recent infection, they may not attend. Attendees with a recent close contact exposure (in the last 10 days) are required to wear a well-fitting mask at all times.

Das Family CEE Student Competition

The Sonny Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), with the support of the Das Family, is launching a one-of-a-kind inaugural student competition: Innovate LA! The competition kickoff event will be on September 30th 2022 with a special guest speaker, and the final Pitch Day in mid-April 2023. This competition is open to all USC Students; however, at least one CEE student must be in each student team. We encourage you to sign up for the chance to win the grand prize of $15,000! Hear and learn about our premier undergraduate competition Atoms, Bits and Cell.

The Viterbi School of Engineering offers USC undergraduate students an opportunity to use innovation to develop solutions in three areas:

  • Atoms – engineering hardware products
  • Bits – digital projects, such as mobile and web apps, including AI, ML applications
  • Cells – biomedical or bioengineering projects
The top three winning teams will each receive $1000.
