Community

The Viterbi School of Engineering supports a rich community of innovators and investors, nurturing at all levels from students to experienced “repeat offender” faculty entrepreneurs.

The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship (TIE) Office is the key entry point for everyone looking to generate transformation through novel technology ventures, from Silicon Beach to the LA Bioscience Corridor and beyond.

To help bring your technologies to market, apply for an I-Corps Teams grant.

The Viterbi Startup Garage is a unique accelerator to support early stage technology startups for students, faculty and alumni.

We even have a summer program for high school students called Technology Innovation Experience to teach them key concepts of engineering entrepreneurship.

To learn more of what the TIE office offers, please view Vice Dean of Innovation Ellis Meng's presentation at the TIE Info Session held on August 27, 2021.
